An actionable permanent supportive housing solution for unhoused people in our community.

The mission of Yolo Community Builders is to advocate, develop and construct affordable housing, including permanent supportive housing, for the unhoused members in our community.

We formed to address the most critical need in alleviating the homeless crisis and the lack of affordable housing for our unhoused neighbors in our community.

We advocate, fundraise and collaborate with the local communities to build safe, stable, and affordable housing for the unhoused. Our housing provides supportive services to all the residents in an aesthetically pleasing environment. It is a cost-effective, functional solution to one of our most critical needs, permanent housing for the unhoused.

A Place to Call Home

VERTICAL TINY HOME VILLAGE is a compact, one-building, permanent supportive housing solution. It provides affordable housing with supportive services, such as ongoing addiction and mental health treatment, case management, and the building of life skills.

Support Services: Ground Floor 
The first floor includes apartments as well as staff offices, an accessible bathroom, laundry facilities, a kitchen, and community space

Micro-Dwellings and Village Gathering Areas: Second and Third Floors
The second and third floors each has ten individual micro-dwellings containing a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. Each micro-dwelling is between 300-350 square feet. The building will also include micro-dwellings that are wheelchair accessible (ADA compliant).

Each floor has a village-style community gathering space that promotes a sense of security, community and connection.

Individual units with amenities provide privacy and individual expression.

A Place For Everyone

Each three-story building balances the privacy and independence of individual micro-dwellings, each with their own bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen, with day-to-day interactions within the village gathering spaces and ground-floor support.
